Fostering with Wings in Camrose, Alberta
We are proud to offer a new program for residents of Camrose, Alberta, and surrounding areas. "Fostering with Wings" is a short-term foster care program for cats and dogs, designed to assist those undergoing medical treatment, fleeing domestic situations, or facing other crises. This program provides a safe, temporary home for your pet, allowing you to focus on your health and wellness.
Participation in this program requires a note from a doctor or social worker stating the treatment duration. All information remains 100% confidential, and your pet will stay in a foster home at no cost to you during this time.
Program Requirements:
- You must be receiving medical treatment that either requires you to leave your residence or makes it unsafe to care for your animals.
- Animals MUST be fully vetted, including vaccinations and spay/neuter surgery. If cost is a barrier, please contact us to discuss options. Proof of veterinary care will be required before intake.
- An estimated length of stay is required. The typical duration for this program is 30-90 days. If an extension is needed, additional documentation from a doctor or social worker will be required.
